Peters T. Otlans, MD, MPH, is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine injuries, arthroscopic surgery, shoulder and knee replacement surgery and fracture care. He performs arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, knee, hip, and elbow, addressing cartilage, ligament, and tendon injuries in a minimally invasive fashion.
Dr. Otlans believes in the importance of building relationships and earning trust with his patients. He focuses on developing individualized care plans after listening carefully to his patient's needs and goals and clearly communicating all treatment options.
Dr. Otlans grew up in Washington State and has a passion for international medical work and orthopaedic research. Prior to returning to the community, he served as an assistant team physician with Portland State athletics and then with Philadelphia's professional and college sports teams.
